Udhedbun is a studio based in Chandigarh, working in short films, documentaries, photography and archives. It was started as a space for vulnerable narratives, human things that sit uneasily, that people carry and rarely say, and that rarely find room. Udhedbun takes those things and turns them into visual essays: slow, unresolved, made with care.

Founded by photographer, aspiring filmmaker and writer Ankita, the studio grew out of ten years spent documenting streets, travel, people and culture. The studio makes intimate portraits, process films, documentaries and an archive of the everyday. Each project is made over time and close to its subject.

Udhedbun exists to look closely at what is hard to look at, and to keep it.
